All 50 State Constitutions Honor God
in their Preambles, Bills of Rights, or Text

[COMMENT: This argument over Religion and State continues on and on..., largely because of the ineptness of "conservatives" who cannot conserve anything.  The evidence on this matter of God and State is so overwhelming historically and logically that one wonders why we are even having this discussion.

But Americans have been intellectually lobotomized so that we do not know
(1) how to formulate our own case in reasonable (factual and logical) terms;
(2) how to gather and organize evidence to support that case;
(3) how to assess contrary evidence from the other side; and
(4) we are not much interested in an open, honest discussion in the first place.

"Gee Whiz.  What if we lost???"   Well, Gee Whiz.  What if?  Go ask Elijah (see I Kings 18 on Mount Carmel).  Or talk to Paul on the resurrection (see I Corinthians 15).  We do not have any confidence that we are right because we have been too scared to risk finding out whether we might be wrong.  That is intellectually (and morally and spiritually) indefensible.

To get a whiff of the mountain of evidence on the matter, read Defending the Declaration by Gary Amos, and Original Intent by David Barton (www.wallbuilders.com).  If our side actually got aggressive in a logical and factual way, and if we did it with some grace and poise, the other side would be toast.

I received the material below by email.  Just one more testimony to how foolish our side has been in prosecuting the spiritual war in which we are engaged.   As with the homosexual nonsense, there is no good reason why we should be losing this war.  E. Fox]
