Advice from Samuel Adams
to
you, in the 21st Century
[COMMENT: The founding fathers understood manhood.
We in the 20th and 21st centuries have lost our manhood. But it comes from
God, not from ourselves. That means that we will never get it back on our
own -- we can get it back only by submitting ourselves again to the sovereignty
of God Almighty.
Sadly, he is right about not requiring a majority to prevail,
only an irate, tireless minority. The minority prevail by getting the
undecided middle to swing in their direction. The sad part is that that
undecided middle is not stable, and will become undecided with the next irate
and tireless minority. And on it goes.
Stability will happen only when the majority give themselves
reasonably and totally to God.
