Truth
be told, she is not a cheerleader.
But Molly is popular. Extremely
popular. She’s the star of Molly-Model.com,
a modeling Website exclusively
dedicated to her. The site has 1,300
paying customers and her Yahoo! fan
club is the second-most popular
modeling fan club on the massively
popular Web portal, with more than
9,000 members. “I even beat the
Girls of Maxim!”she proudly says.
“And those girls are, you know,
kinda nice!” ...
She
put up her name on an Internet
modeling board, a man named Gary L.
Smith called her up and offered to
make her a star, and a couple of
e-mails and phone calls later, she
was in Florida for her first-ever
modeling shoot. A few months after
that, she’s the Internet’s hottest
teen model. “I go out there and I
see the number of members and it’s
like, ‘Yeah!’” Molly says. “It’s a
blast, it’s awesome!” ...
The
site is less than a year old, but
there are already more than a
thousand pictures of Molly in her
“portfolio,” grouped in
easy-to-navigate series with names
like: “Pink top and panties,” “Up
against the bricks,” and “Candy
Canes.” There are a dozen sample
pictures and it costs $17.95 a month
to become a member and have access
to the whole collection. Paying
members also get Molly’s e-mail
address and invitations to regular
live chats.
“I get all sorts of
numbers,” Molly says. “I’ve
gotten [every]one from a
woman teacher in Nebraska to
a 15-year-old kid who thinks
I’m good lookin’.” But those
aren’t her only fans. “Yeah,
there’s the... umm...
middle-aged men, kinda
looking for a friend or some
friendship, you know?”
Apparently
what these new
friends want are
pictures of Molly in
cocktail dresses, in
jeans and tank tops,
lounging on a sofa
in shorts and a
T-shirt. Molly in a
bikini, Molly in a
business suit, Molly
in a cheerleader
outfit, Molly
sucking on a sugar
cane.
Some
pictures do
get a bit
racy, like
the one on
the samples
page of her
sitting on a
bed, halfway
through
removing her
shirt, or
the other
one where
she’s taking
off her
panty. “I
set my
limits, I
know what I
wanna do, I
know how
sexual I can
be without
going over
the line,”
Molly
explains.
“I’ve looked
through
magazines,
through
Seventeen
and Cosmo
and I kinda
get a feel
as to, you
know, what’s
acceptable
and what’s
pushing it.
I mean, if
you look
through the
average
magazine
you’re gonna
see sexy
girls.
That’s...
what sells!
The fashion
today is
skimpy, it’s
short
skirts, you
know, that’s
just what
you’re gonna
see....”

GERMAN GOVERNMENT

Lately the
German officials
have been trying to

Public School Religious Neutrality

that "separation" means operating on

PHILADELPHIA
- A 10-year-old boy who
said he was not allowed to wear
a Jesus costume during his
school's Halloween activities
sued the district, alleging that
his religious and free-speech
rights were violated.
The complaint, filed in federal
court Tuesday, says officials at
Willow Hill Elementary School in
Glenside told the boy Oct. 31
that he could not wear his faux
crown of thorns or tell others
he was dressed as Jesus.
The principal, Patricia Whitmire,
told the boy's mother that the
costume violated a policy
prohibiting the promotion of
religion, according to the
lawsuit. Whitmire suggested that
the fourth-grader, whose costume
also included a robe, identify
himself as a Roman emperor, the
suit states.
While the boy's costume was
rejected because of its
religious nature, the principal
allowed other students to dress
up as witches and devils,
according to the lawsuit....

Brits Catch On To American
Government School Dropout Scam
Connoisseurs of American
government school scamming know that
one of several techniques America's
highly trained education
professionals have for "managing"
the bad news about dropout rates is
to claim that dropouts left to
homeschool. This is a "twofer" for
the government schools: it not only
allows them to deceive the public
about dropout rates, it can also
eventually be used to create
unfavorable publicity about
homeschooling to promote
homeschooling regulation. Now it
appears that the Brits have caught
on, but they need a tutorial on how
not to get caught:
Some
local authorities are trying to cut
their truancy rates by urging
parents of persistent truants to say
they will home educate, it is
claimed.

Report Tougher Courses and

Achievement Levels Have

"Never give a sucker an even

of public school public

WASHINGTON, Feb.
22 — Today’s high school
students are taking
seemingly tougher
courses and earning
better grades, but their
reading skills are not
improving, according to
the results of a
national assessment
released here today that
cited grade inflation as
a possible explanation.
The National
Assessment of
Educational Progress,
often called the
nation’s report card,
surveyed transcripts of
26,000 students,
comparing them with an
earlier study of student
coursework in 1990. It
also reported on the
reading and math scores
of 12th graders across
the country.
The report
offered several
rationales for the
disparity between rising
grade point averages and
more difficult course
work, on the one hand,
and stagnant reading
scores on the other,
including “grade
inflation, changes in
grading standards, and
growth in student
performance.”
Darvin M. Winick,
chairman of the National
Assessment Governing
Board, which oversees
the exams, said in a
prepared statement that
the findings “provide
little comfort,” and
“suggest that we need to
know much more about the
level of rigor
associated with the
courses that high school
students are taking,”
The results
found that the reading
skills of 12th graders
tested in 2005 were
significantly worse than
those of students in
1992, the first time a
comparable test was
given, and essentially
flat since students took
the exam in 2002.
The share of
students lacking even
basic high school
reading skills — meaning
they could not, for
example, extract data
about train fares at
different times of day
from a brochure — rose
to 27 from 20 percent in
1992. The share of those
proficient in reading
dropped to 35 from 40
percent in 1992. At the
same time, the gap
between boys and girls
grew, with girls’
reading skills more than
a year ahead of those of
boys.
In math, 23
percent of all 12th
graders were proficient,
but the exam had been
revamped, so the results
could not be compared to
earlier years. The new
test has fewer questions
requiring arithmetic,
but more using algebra
and geometry. Some 39
percent of 12th graders
lacked even basic high
school math, meaning
they could not, for
example, figure out the
length of a hypotenuse
using the Pythagorean
theorem.
In math, girls
had higher grades from
teachers, but scored
about equally with boys
on the national
assessment. Boys who had
taken advanced math and
science courses,
however, scored higher
on the exam than girls
who had also taken such
courses.
