Below are announcements about a series of meetings in Montgomery County to preserve Biblical standards for sexual expression -- one man, one woman, in marriage for life.
If you live in any of these areas, plan to attend. Get your pastor to attend. The Church of God has been a sleeping (and that is being kind) giant. But if we will allow the Spirit of God to guide us out of our lethargy, laziness, apathy, comfort-seeking, rebellion (and on it goes...), we will be wielding the Sword of the Spirit - speaking the truth in love.
The real issue on this sexuality mess is not sexuality, it is honest discussion. As in, "Come, let us reason together..." That is God's strategy. That is wielding the Sword of the Spirit. The homosexual agenda (indeed, the whole "sex revolution"), cannot stand open, candid discussion. Truth will quickly torpedo their whole program. But our side has been too timid, prudish, or ignorant to force this honest discussion. It is time to stand up and be counted.
